Do you ever notice something as you go about your daily routine that just jumps out and sticks with you the rest of the day? I’m sure you do – for me lately, it is a placard posted at our neighborhood’s elementary school. For the past couple weeks, I have walked by it every morning; its message (see below) resonates with me.
Every day I see this sign...what does it make YOU think about?
I’m sure 100 people reading this placard will think of 100 different things. Every time I read it, I happen to think of ONE thing: our Morkie, Jack Vogel. I’ve mentioned him on here before but I thought today would be a great day to revisit the little guy I hold nearest and dearest to my heart (ok, he’s second in line- first is my husband but Jack is a very close second).

Anyone who has a pet knows what I mean when I say these animals are full of unconditional love. We adopted Jack about a little over a year ago and today, I can’t imagine our lives without him. He’s a member of our family, we consider him to be our first “child,” and he will forever hold a place in our hearts. I love that even after having the worst day or being in a terrible mood, the second you walk in the door, Jack runs to greet you with his tail wagging, ready to lick your face and welcome you home.
Being only six pounds, it is sometimes hard to believe that Jack takes up such a big place in my heart. But as I said, this phrase has different meanings for different people. When you see the message on this sign, what does it make you think about?
