Meet Lindsey

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog!  This blog is about enjoying life’s delicious moments, one bite at a time.

A little bit about me…

I am a newlywed, currently living in Dallas, TX (but not for long!), work in the medical device industry, and have the most adorable Morkie (Jack) a girl could ask for. Oh, and did I mention that I am in LOVE with sweets?

Growing up my family moved all over the country. I’d like to say that living on different coasts and experiencing different cultures has in part made me who I am today.  The place my family spent the most time in was a suburb of Atlanta, GA.  Georgia is where I finished up middle school, high school, and eventually went on to The University of Georgia  (GOOOO DAWGS!).  The University of Georgia also holds a special place in my heart because not only did I graduate there with a Business degree but that is where I met my husband, Ryan.

At UGA's Famous Arch

While in my senior year of my undergrad degree Ryan was in his first year of his doctoral program.  He ended up proctoring one of my exams (no, he wasn’t my professor… just filling in for a sick one) and I couldn’t take my eyes off of him.  Our relationship was at times a bumpy one because after I graduated from UGA I took a sales job with Newell Rubbermaid and it took me out to Dallas, TX.  This meant that for 3 years I was in Dallas while Ryan was finishing up with Ph.D in Athens.  Doing the long distance thing is not for the faint of heart. Was it challenging? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely!

6/10/11

We got married June 10, 2011 in Athens, GA and Ryan moved out to Dallas soon thereafter.  He took a job at SMU as a business professor and I ended up changing jobs as well.  In less than 2 months we were married, had 2 new jobs, a new dog, and a new home.  Whew, can you say hectic?  The funny thing is I thrive on this sort of thing:)

Ryan & Jack

This past year has been AMAZING.  Full of love, learning how to co-habitate, and enjoying everything Dallas has to offer.  But now, it’s time for another big change.  No, we’re not pregnant but we are moving… to Pennsylvania.  Ryan has accepted a position at Penn State and so we’re off on another adventure.  I’ve never lived up north & not sure how I’m going to feel about shoveling snow but I’m definitely ready for this next phase in our lives.

Join me on this adventure! I’m hoping this is a fun blog… full of food bites, everything crafty, and travel tips.  I’d love to hear your comments so feel free to leave them!

Happy reading!

~Lindsey
